Application Deadline for Hopkins County Fire Chief

The deadline to apply for the position of Hopkins County Fire Chief is May 26, and so far, only 3 people have applied for the job. Mike Matthews, a Longview firefighter and paramedic is currently serving in the position on an interim basis.  He replaced Kevin Yates, who resigned when he accepted a Fire Chief position in a Louisiana town.
