On Saturday morning May 28th, 2016 at about 3:30am Reno Police received information about a disturbance that occurred at Taco Bell in Paris. There it was reported that a male had possibly assaulted a female there and left eastbound toward Reno in a white Buick 4-door passenger car.
After receiving the information, Reno Police then found a white Buick 4- door car pulling into the Reno Buggy Bath Car Wash. There Reno Police made contact with a couple who had apparently been involved in a disturbance. After a brief investigation, the driver of the car, Kenneth Waller Jr. of Clarksville, was placed under arrest for Assault Class C assault Family Violence and transported to Lamar County Jail.
While being processed at the jail, Waller was found to be in possession of less than an ounce of Marijuana and over 5 grams of Cocaine.
In addition to the Assault, Waller was then charged with Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine), Penalty Group 1, over 4 grams and less than 200 grams, a first degree felony, and Possession of a Prohibited Substance (Marijuana) in a Correctional Facility, a third degree felony.
Any further inquiries into this matter, please contact Chief Matt Birch with the information provided.
Sincerely,
Matt Birch
