Grand Marshal Named For Hopkins County Fall Festival Parade

The Hopkins County Fall Festival Board has named Patti Stone Sells to be the Grand Marshal of this year’s Fall Festival Parade. Sells is the mother of Staff Sgt Tanner Higgins, who was killed in Afghanistan. She was honored for her work in organizing scholarships in his namesake Tanner Higgins Memorial Run. She worked extensively with other families who have lost a soldier in combat.
