Charges Could Be Upgraded In Fire Captain’s Murder

There’s a possibility that conspiracy charges filed against a Royse City woman in  connection with the slaying of her husband, University Park FD Captain Robert Poynter could be upgraded to murder . 29 year old Chacey Poynter is currently being held in lieu of $500,000 bail in the Hunt County jail.  37 year old Michael Glen Garza of Quinlan is already charged with murder in the case, and his bond was set at $1 million.
