East Texas Man Killed By Homeowner

Family members of an East Texas man killed over the weekend by a homeowner say he had mistakenly walked into the wrong house. Rusk County deputies confirmed that 20 year old Samuel Andrew Brown of Longview had entered a home on County Road 102 without the owner’s consent.  The 51-year-old homeowner advised Brown to stop and then shot Brown once  in the chest when Brown failed to heed his command.
