East Texas Man Seriously Injured By Fire Caused by Child Playing With Lighter

An Anderson County man was transported to the Parkland Memorial Hospital Burn unit for severe burns and respiratory injuries after a mobile home fire that started with a child playing with a cigarette lighter. The fire began in a bedroom and smoke quickly spread throughout the home.  The children in the home managed to get out safely and there were no other injuries.
