A 52-year-old Marion County woman was arrested after her dog mauled another person. Melissa Rodriguez is charged with allowing an attack by a dog, a third-degree felony. Rodriguez has been released on $15,000 bail. The victim remains hospitalized. Authorities say Rodriguez had been cited on several previous occasions in connection with violations concerning her dogs.
