An East Texas woman who pleaded guilty to two counts of intoxication manslaughter and opted to have a jury determine her punishment has been sentenced in Smith County District Court. Jessica Vass, of Lindale, was sentenced to ten years’ probation and a $10,000 fine on each count. She must also spend 120 days in jail.
