Float Winners Named in North Lamar Homecoming Parade

North Lamar’s Homecoming Parade made its way through the campus Friday afternoon as students and patrons lined the route to watch.  Announced during the pep rally that morning and accompanied by Nominee Kayedon Oliver in the parade was North Lamar Homecoming King Kevin Dawson.  Winning the first place trophy for best float was the Stone Middle School volleyball team followed by the Stone cheerleaders who placed second, and the Stone Outdoor Education class who placed third.  Patrons showing the most spirit along the route and earning the Traveling Spirit Award was Aaron Parker Elementary.  Judges for the parade entries were Jeff Martin, Kyle Coston and Bobby Garrison.
