Investigation Into WC Jail Administrator Complete

Texas Rangers and Wood County deputies have completed their investigation into former Wood County Jail Administrator David Jawayne McGee, who allegedly forged documents to help a female inmate get released from jail. No other jail staff members were involved. The next step is to present the findings of that investigation to a grand jury and a gag order in the case has been lifted. McGee is being held under $200,000 bond in the Hopkins County jail.
