Lamar County Crimestoppers Asking for Public’s Help In Recent Burglary

This weekend the Lamar County Sheriff’s Office responded to a burglary at a hunting and fishing cabin located in North East Lamar County. There were several items taken in the burglary and we are asking for any assistance in the recovery of the items and apprehension of suspects.

We are attempting to locate a M1 Garand 30.06 rifle, Remington 270 model rifle with a Nikon scope, Marlin .22 LR with a Weaver scope, Winchester lever action 30.30 rifle, 1904 30.06 Military conversion rifle, 50 caliber Traditions in line black powder muzzle loader, 12 gauge Remington Wingmaster shotgun, 12 gauge Mossberg pump shotgun, and 500 rounds of 30.06 ammo. Also taken in the burglary were a Netgear Wifi box, Bostich framing nailer, Bostich finishing nailer, Green Gorilla tree stand,red Craftsman 25 gallon air compressor, green heavy duty lawn wagon and Bee tools with pouch.
