Lion’s Jameyson Named National Player Of The Week Plus Rangers Sign Lincecum

Speaking of The Lions softball team, the Lions are now No. 11 in the latest #NFCA Division II Coaches’ Poll. The Lions jumped up ten spots from last week. #NBSD

The Texas Rangers formally announced this morning that the club has signed free agent right-handed pitcher Tim Lincecum (#44) to a one-year contract for the 2018 season. To make room for Lincecum on the major league roster, the team has designated catcher Brett Nicholas for assignment. Gallo, Robinson and Rua homer but the Rangers drop yesterday’s spring training game to the Rockies 5-4. They’re back in surprise today to host the White Sox. Game time 2:05.

And in a not surprising move, the Dallas Cowboys put the franchise tag on DeMarcus Lawrence. A little more surprising is that Lawrence learned of the designation on Twitter.
