My real name is Collins Knighton.
I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. I am one of six kids. I am the middle child. (that explains alot)
I was lucky enough to be a pretty good athlete as a kid. I was a a 4 year letter in football, and 3 year letter in basketball. Went to college to play football, but, my knees had other ideas. After a hitch in the Army, I was a disco dj…yep…leisure suit and all. No platform shoes, though. I have been in radio since 1978. I have done a morning show and sports most of my career, including covering the Atlanta Braves and Falcons, along with various colleges. Along the way, I worked in Augusta, Georgia. Got to cover the Masters, and even played the course twice. No, I am not a good golfer. Have 2 kids….my daughter is a nurse and my son is in the industrial crane business. I have 2 grandchildren.
