Monday Night Market returns for October. It is back by popular demand featuring locally produced music, food and wine.
The Winnsboro Farmers’ Market returns to Market Street every Monday Night in October after an immensely successful debut during the month of June offering a second helping of locally produced music, food, and wine.
Over 500 Winnsboro residents and visitors came to Market Street during Monday Night Markets in June to enjoy delicious food, wine and outdoor performances by local artists. October promises to be just as exciting. Four local musical acts have been secured to provide entertainment. Among the food choices available are Liefie (South African), Bella Stella (German), Bon Appetite (Panini sandwiches, funnel cake, and nachos) and sweet treats by The Chocolate Chip and The Pie Lady. Local wineries, Bella Stella and Red55, will offer wine by the taste, glass, and bottle. Seating and tables will be available, but the public is urged to bring an extra chair to sit a spell to eat, drink, and listen to some great music on Market Street. Several Market Street restaurants will be open for your dining pleasure. Of course, local farmers will be offering their produce for you to take home and enjoy as well.
Opening night music on October 5th is by Brown Randy and Pine Curtain. The 12th brings hometown favorites, Adler & Hearne, back to Market Street. “Come Down Angel” with Shannon Monk, Bob Watson, and Leanne Bryant will play October 19th, with Gus Gustafson & Lindy Hearne rounding out the month’s entertainment on October 26th.
