Sulphur Springs – Yesterday evening was the first time in over a decade that Sulphur Springs Wildcats played a spring football game.  The Blue and White scrimmage featured about 45 Wildcat players on each team, putting on display the work put in over the last several weeks.  The practice featured six quarters with live referees, with a running clock only being stopped on coaches signals.

Tonight the Texas Rangers begin a three game series with the Pittsburgh Pirates at Globe Life Park in Arlington. Cole Hamels will be on the hill for Texas, who’s currently in 2nd place, behind Seattle in the AL West with a 27-20 record.
