Paris City Council Sets New Tax Rate

The Paris City Council has set the 2017–’18 tax rate at 55.1 cents per hundred dollars property valuation. The five-cent increase is because of bonds the voters approved for street and road repairs. Under the new rate, an owner of a $100,000 house would pay just under $552 annual city property tax.
