Paris Man Arrested for Tampering With Evidence

Joseph Adam Mattaliano, 26, of Paris, was arrested at 9:28 A.M. in the 1400 block of Church St. on warrants charging him with accident involving injury and tampering with physical evidence. The warrants stemmed from a December 15, 2015 case where Mattaliano’s vehicle struck another vehicle in the 2800 block of Clarksville St and then left the scene before officers arrived. The vehicle was found on December 16, 2015 burning in a pasture outside the city. Mattaliano was later transferred to the Lamar County Jail.
