On 03-20-2018 at 6:31 pm, Officers executed a search warrant in the 700-block of NE 6th and made contact with Davarious Battle (29 YOA male), Samantha Woods-Battle (28 YOA female), Travon Battle (25 YOA male), Taymn Collins (18 YOA female), and Sandy Battle (48 YOA female). Officers found approximately 24 grams of methamphetamine, approximately seven grams of cocaine, approximately six ounces of marijuana, two handguns, and drug paraphernalia as well as children inside the residence. D. Battle was placed under arrest for manufacturing or delivery of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana >4oz<5lbs, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, and endangering a child. Woods-Battle was placed under arrest for manufacturing or delivery of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana >4oz<5lbs, and endangering a child. T. Battle was placed under arrest for two charges of manufacturing or delivery of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana >4oz<5lbs, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, and endangering a child. Collins was placed under arrest for possession of marijuana >4oz<5lbs and endangering a child. S. Battle was placed under arrest for possession of marijuana >4oz<5lbs.
On 03-20-2018 at 08:28 am the Paris Police Department received a report from Child Protective Services concerning an allegation of a child testing positive for a controlled substance. The investigation is ongoing.
On 03-21-2018 at 4:15 am the Paris Police Department received a report alleging that a child had possibly been abused. The investigation is ongoing.
