Paris Police Blotter 8.11.17

 

 

On 08-10-2017 at 10:51 am, officers responded to the Lamar County Court House in regards to a warrant arrest. Officers made contact with Xavier Booker, 21, who was found to have three outstanding warrants for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and an outstanding bond surrender warrant. Booker was placed under arrest for the warrants. The aggravated assault warrants stemmed from an incident which was reported on 07-20-2017 where Booker had allegedly fired shots at three people in the 600 block of Tudor. The investigation is ongoing.

On 08-10-2017, officers made contact with Michael Doan, 22, in the 600 block of Hackleman in Roxton in regards to a warrant arrest. Doan was placed under arrest for a warrant for Theft of property $30,000 to $150,000. The warrant stemmed from the theft of two Dodge pickups from the 1700 block of NE Loop which was reported on 07-14-2017.

On 08-10-2017 at 9:40 am, officers made contact with Styles Johnson, 36, in the 400 block of Grand Ave in regards to a warrant arrest. Johnson was found to have an outstanding motion to adjudicate guilt warrant on a possession of controlled substance charge. Johnson was placed under arrest for the warrant.

On 08-10-2017 at 3:59 pm, officers responded to the parole office in regards to a warrant arrest. Officers made contact with Billy Wallace, 58, who was found to have an outstanding parole violation warrant. Wallace was placed under arrest for the warrant.

On 08-10-2017 at 2:01 pm, officers responded to the 1700 block of Cedar in regards to a burglary. Officers were advised that an unknown suspect had entered the residence while no one was there and took numerous appliances including a refrigerator and a washer. The investigation is ongoing.

Paris Police responded to 98 calls for service and arrested eight people over the past 24 hours ending at 6:00 am on August 11, 2017.
