Paris Police Investigating Counterfeit Bills

Paris Police responded to the 600 block of Bonham in regards to a forgery complaint. Officers were told that an unknown white male suspect had passed a counterfeit $100 bill in the business. Investigators received information that other $100 bills had been reported in other areas of Texas with serial numbers of LD14417670A, LB52564337i, LB04443330Q, & LF85577096B. The investigation is ongoing. The Police Department recommends checking any and all currency received to verify that it is not counterfeit before leaving the establishment where it is received.
