Paris Police responded to Booker T Washington Homes in regards to a stabbing and was told that during a confrontation, 45-year-old Paul Bailey pulled a knife and cut the complainant’s hand. Bailey was located nearby and arrested for aggravated assault. The victim was transported to the local hospital for treatment.
Officers responded to a disturbance in the 100 block of NW 19th and were told that 55-year-old Pernell Barrow had hit the complainant in the head. He was arrested for assault family violence. Due to a previous conviction, the charge was enhanced to a felony.
Paris Police are investigating two burglaries. Officers were told that an unknown suspect entered a home in the 200 block of NW 23rd and took a television. A burglary of a building that occurred on an earlier date in the 200 block of NE 3rd is also under investigation. Officers were told that a known suspect had broken into a storage building and taken a power washer and a ladder.
