Paris Police Warn of Scam That Threatens Violence

Paris police are warning of scams targeting local residents and threatening violence. A scammer claiming to be with the IRS threatened to bomb the person he was calling after they gave a fake social security number and started laughing. In another case an e-mail is circulating telling recipients they are on a hit list and will be killed unless they send the scammer $20,000.
