In Baseball On Thursday, PJC lost to Bossier Parish 10-7 on the road.
District softball and baseball happening tonight with Paris High at North Lamar. Softball starts at 6:00 p.m. with baseball to follow at 7:30. The softball game can be heard on Mix 107.7 with the pregame at 5:45.
In other district action, The Chisum baseball and softball teams will play at Chapel Hill while Prairiland will host Cooper in both sports.
In Track at the Deon Minor Relay, North Lamar’s Seybian Holt broke the men’s high jump school record with a jump of 6 ft 9 in.
Kobey Emeyabbi Pole Vaulted into the record book with a vault of 13ft to bring home the gold. The 13ft jump was a new record at the Relays.
Paris High’s Montavius McCarty, Donovan Williams, and Travius Bronner finished 1-2-3 in the varsity boys 100 meters.
At Regionals in tennis, North Lamar’s Cydney Holbrook finished in second place for the Girls Singles qualifier while Ryan Michael and Kishan Mistry finished in 2nd place for the Boys doubles Qualifier
On the hardwood, the Mavs lost to Utah 119-112.
And the Rangers fall to Cincinnati 7-6 in spring training baseball despite Roughned Odor’s first home run of the spring.
