Robbery Leads to Lockdown of Aikin Elementary

A Paris woman was robbed at gunpoint Monday afternoon at her home in the 3200 block of East Houston Street. A 15 year old boy was detained by police.  It happened right in front of Aikin Elementary school, which was briefly placed on lockdown before the school let out. Police say the boy had cash and prescription pills in his possession, but did not disclose any other details.
