Sulphur Springs Man Jailed After Traffic Stop

Bond was set at $20,000 for a 21 year old Sulphur Springs man arrested after a traffic stop on the I-30 service road near College Street. During the stop, officers found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia and arrested Derek Lane Carrell for possession of a controlled substance. He remains in the Hopkins County jail.
