Sulphur Springs Police Arrest Couple On Multiple Felony Charges

Sulphur Springs police arrested two last evening after a traffic stop on Fisher Street. Officers were denied permission to search the vehicle, but then spotted a marijuana roach in plain sight and conducted a search anyway.  They found syringes containing methamphetamine and then a bottle containing a liquid believed to be methamphetamine.  49 year old Russell Edward Skeen and 24 year old Caitlan Danae Prestige were arrested for possession of a controlled substance. Two children were in the vehicle and the couple was also charged with endangering a child.  The children were turned over to their mother.
