A Sulphur Springs man has been sentenced in Sherman to 25 years in prison for possession with the intent to deliver methamphetamine. 19 year old Brandon Lee Patton was arrested on the drug charges in September of 2015 after a traffic stop by police in Howe. Officers found him in possession of 95 grams of the drugs worth an estimated $10,000. Patton pleaded guilty to the charge, but had a jury determine his sentence. He must serve at least 61/2 years behind bars before becoming eligible for parole.
