Suspect In Wood County Chase, Manhunt Identified

The man who led officers from multiple agencies on a pursuit and then a manhunt remains in the Wood County jail.  30 year old William Eric Potter of Humble has been charged on an outstanding warrant for violating his parole. Charges of evading with a vehicle and aggravated assault on a public servant are pending. Potter was captured after leading officers on a chase through Wood County, into Franklin County and then back to Wood County. He was taken into custody after he was tracked down by a deputy and a K9 tracking dog from the TDCJ.
