Teen Charged With Shooting Father

A 19 year old Gladewater man has been arrested for allegedly shooting his father in their house. Gladewater police were called to the residence, where 42 year old Noel Garner Senior had been shot in the face by son Noel Junior who had fled the scene. The younger Garner was arrested a short time later and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a first degree felony. The father suffered injuries to his face, but they are not believed to be life threatening.
