Texas Day Of Prayer Sunday September 3

Governor Gregg Abbott has issued a proclamation declaring Sunday, Sept. 3, a Day of Prayer in Texas. He issued the proclamation on the grounds of what remains of First Baptist Church in Rockport. The Governor was among a group of state and federal officials visiting Rockport with Vice President Mike Pence. Abbott explained that Sunday will be a day to pray for all those affected by Hurricane Harvey, including the first responders and volunteers who are helping others.
