Tips from Lamar County Crimestoppers Leads to More Clues in Theft

With the assistance of Crime Stoppers, Red River County deputies have recovered one of the stolen items from the North Woods Fire Department burglary. Items that are still missing consist of a Craftsman air compressor, an exhaust fan, and miscellaneous hand tools. Investigators believe that two black males in a maroon four door car were trying to sell the stolen items. The driver was described as being tall, skinny and walking with a limp. The passenger was described as being shorter than the driver but with a stockier.
