The next Habitat for Humanity Brush With Kindness event will be Friday and Saturday September 23rd & 24th. Scraping and priming are done on Friday, beginning at 8 a.m. Actual painting is done on Saturday, also beginning at 8 a.m. Some certain jobs may require only a one-day effort. The Paris Community Theatre will be holding an adult acting workshop series titled “From Auditions to Curtain Calls – The Process”. The three (3) workshops will be taught by Jeff Cochran, one of our favorite thespians who recently starred on the PCT stage as Uncle Fester in The Addams Family and Amos in Chicago.
The workshops are open to anyone age 16 and over. This is the perfect introduction to theatre for anyone thinking about auditioning for the first time, or for those that want to hone their acting skills. The dates for the workshops are set for September 24th, October 15th, and November 5th, from 9am – noon to be held at the Brown Centre for the Performing Arts, 115 Clarksville Street. The cost will be $25 per workshop, or $65 for the series.
