10% Pay Raise For Lamar County Elected Officials

Lamar County Commissioners have voted to approve elected officials’ 10% pay increase. The raise is for the county judge, commissioners, district clerks, tax assessor/collector, treasurer, full-time Precinct 5 justices of the peace, and sheriff. They expect to finalize the measure at the Jul 31 meeting of the commissioner’s court.
