Kilgore Woman Fatally Shoots Husband

Officers arrested a Kilgore woman after she called 911 and told Gregg County dispatchers that she had fatally shot her husband with a shotgun. Investigators say 56-year-old Penelope Ann Stoudt told them she entered her home at about 2:00 pm, and her husband called her a drunk and told her to get out, or he would kill her. She then reportedly told officers she got her shotgun and shot him in the chest.
