Homeowner Captures, Ties Up Burglary Suspect

A Gladewater homeowner caught a man in the act of burglarizing his home over the weekend. The homeowner saw the man ransacking a bedroom, and retrieved a gun from another room. The homeowner confronted Tyler Wayne Craig, of Gladewater, tied him up with belts and held him at gunpoint until Gregg County deputies arrived. Craig’s bond was set at $20,000 on a charge of Burglary of a Habitation.
