KOYN Teacher of the Week for Feb. 15th

Congratulations to our KOYN Teacher of the Week is Jana Kennedy 1st Grade teacher at Aikin Elementary. She was nominated by Melinda Story who said: “Jana goes the extra mile to make sure that her students excelled.  She takes the extra time to call me at home when she has a concern.  She strives to make her students great readers.  She knows the importance of laying a foundation of learning that will help my son in a lifetime of studies.  Jana joined my sons class two weeks after school had started she jumped in and took off teaching exactly the structure my son needed this year.  She has forever touch Marshall’s heart caring more than she ever had  to and that is why she should be teacher of the week.”
