Lamar County Investigating Death

Lamar County Sheriff’s Investigators found human remains on CR 45300 and believe the body may be 34-year-old Justin Hughes of Powderly. He had been missing since Aug. 22. Hunters found the body sent for an autopsy to make identification and determine a cause of death positively. Texas Rangers have joined the investigation.
