Governor Abbott Visits Teen Migrant Facility In San Antonio

Complaints of abuse and neglect at an illegal immigrant youth shelter in San Antonio have led Governor Abbott to demand that the Biden Administration shut it down. The Freeman Coliseum currently houses 1,300 kids. Abbott said two state agencies received complaints Wednesday that they were sexually assaulting kids, there wasn’t enough supervision, some kids were going hungry, and they were not separating those with COVID. Abbott has tapped DPS and the Texas Rangers to lead the investigation.
