OK Appeals Issues Execution Stays

Two Oklahoma Death Row inmates scheduled for lethal injection this month have been granted reprieves by a three-member panel of the Tenth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. John Marion Grant prepared to die tonight, and Julius Jones, whose lethal injection is Nov. 18, received the stays.
