Longview Man Sentence For Sexual Child Abuse

A Longview man was sentenced to 45 years in prison without parole Tuesday for continuous sexual abuse of a child. During a bench trial, Judge Alfonso Charles found Joseph Mitchel Wright, 36, of Longview, guilty of constant sex abuse of a child younger than 14. Charles sentenced Wright to 45 years in prison, to be served day for day, with credit for time served.
