Hopkins County deputies found 22 year old Chevy Ray Smith of Whitewright parked on the side of CR 4748 about 2:30am Monday and learned that Smith was wanted on outstanding Morris County warrants for burglary. Narcotics was found in Smith’s possession and since two babies were in the car, Smith also faces charges of abandoning or endangering a child. 21 year old Alyssa Rachelle Romo was also charged with child endangerment.
