The New Hope Center, Lamar County Coalition on the Homeless and the Lamar County United Way, are asking for volunteers to conduct a count on the number of homeless people in the community. The Point in Time survey will be conducted with smartphones or tablets using an APP by the Texas Homeless Network. Last year, the survey showed 141 homeless people in Paris.
