Camp County Man Charged With Kidnapping

Camp County Deputies arrested Javier Villarreal Amador, 22, of Mt Pleasant, on Sunday, August 24, charging him with kidnapping. On July 20, Deputy Andrew Cox investigated him at Walker Creek Apartments about a female being held captive. Investigator Tim Hall responded to that location and learned Amador had fled the scene. Hall interviewed the victim and a subject who had given Amador a ride to Mount Pleasant. The victim had several injuries where Amador had recently struck her with a pistol and old wounds from previous beatings.
