Six Workforce Centers To Close

Six East Texas centers that provide unemployment assistance are set to close at the end of the month. Workforce Solutions East Texas announced Thursday that offices in Emory, Gilmer, Jefferson, Pittsburg , Quitman and Carthage will close Dec. 30. The organization helps job seekers find employment and oversees more than 20 employment and training programs in East Texas.
