Man Jailed After Throwing Board Through Truck’s Windshield

A 46 year old Dallas man has been arrested for allegedly throwing a 6 foot long 2 by 4 at an 18 wheeler’s windshield in Gregg County. Arthur Ray Thompson reportedly told a deputy he intentionally threw the board  so the police would get called, and would give him a courtesy ride to the next county line. Instead he was charged with criminal mischief causing damage between $750 and $2,500 and deadly conduct and remained behind bars.
