A special meeting of the Sulphur Springs ISD school board was held Monday, January 9, 2017

ADMINISTRATIVE REPORTS

School board trustee election filing dates were announced as Wednesday, January 18, 2017 through Friday, February 17, 2017.  The election will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017.

Along with routine matters, the board approved the following:

Texas Education Agency application for Staff Development Waiver-3 days

TEA application for Staff Development through Subject Training Waiver – 1 day Math, 1 day Science

TEA application for Early Release Days Waiver – 6 days

TEA application for Expedited and General State Waivers: Foreign Exchange Student Waiver – limit to 3 students per school year
