Texarkana Man Back In Jail

A Northeast Texas man out on bond for a previous arrest is back in custody for allegedly stealing $175 from a man in the parking lot of a Texarkana convenience store. A detective assigned to the case recognized the suspect as 24-year-old Qwansie Stewart, and Stewart’s ankle monitor record showed he had been at the store at the time of the theft. Stewart was arrested and remains in the Bi-State Justice Center.
