High School Baseball Plus Schedule Changes Ahead Of Rain

Prairiland lost to Cooper 4-1 while Chisum beat Chapel Hill 3-1

In the district opener for both teams, Paris beat NL 8-3. Paris High pitcher Zach Norris gave up 3 runs with none of them earned, 4 hits, 2 walks, and had 13 strikeouts.

NL beat Paris 7-0. Reagan Richardson finished with 13 strikeouts in the win while allowing only one hit. Saya Swain had 14 strikeouts in the loss.

Chisum lost to Chapel Hill 7-6 in 8 innings. Paige Shelton had a two-run homer in the loss and Prairiland beat Cooper 6-1.

The Paris boys won their 5th district title as they defeated Princeton 1-0.

Paris girls lost to Princeton 2-1.

NL girls beat Bonham 4-0 while the boys fall 3-2 and are eliminated from the playoffs

Game changes due to weather: NL has moved both their softball and baseball games vs Atlanta into Monday at 4:30 at NL. The softball game can be heard on Mix 107.7 with pregame at 4:15.

Paris has moved their baseball game with PG to Monday Night at 7:30 at PJC. Softball to be played Monday at 6:00 in Texarkana
