New US Attorney Sworn In For Eastern District Of Texas

Former Grayson County District Attorney, Joe Brown, was formally sworn in Friday at the federal courthouse in Sherman as the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Texas. The Eastern District of Texas is made up of 43 counties that stretch from the Oklahoma border to the Gulf of Mexico. President Donald Trump nominated Brown. He has 93 employees, including 46 prosecutors. The district serves 3.5 million people.
