Man Dead After Shelby County Standoff

An East Texas man wanted for allegedly shooting at a State Trooper was fatally shot after a brief standoff in Shelby County. Authorities received a tip he was inside a house in Center, and authorities responded to the scene. After several hours of negotiations, Antonio Aguilar exited the home brandishing a rifle, that he allegedly fired at officers. They returned fire and Aguillar was fatally wounded. They jailed 58-year-old Mark Tuley, of Center, was jailed for Harboring a Fugitive.
